The Light Still Shines! Let’s celebrate!

Hi everyone!

As we enter Christmas season 2025, my mind is once again filled with the truth found in John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” What a steadying reminder for every believer—no matter what this year has held, the light of Jesus is still shining, still victorious, still overcoming the deepest shadows of life.

At Christmas, we remember that God stepped into a dark world with a radiant hope. He came not only to save us, but to walk with us, strengthen us, and fill our hearts with the assurance that we are never alone. The same Jesus who came to Bethlehem shines today into homes that need peace, marriages that need mending, hearts that need comfort, and lives that need direction!

There is one particular aspect of Jesus that people may often forget. Just like the innkeeper initially had “no room” for the Saviour of the World to be born, he took the initiative to find a place for Joseph and Mary, even if it was in a lowly stable. They never forced their way into this place, but it was made possible by the willingness of the innkeeper to make a place where this wonderful light could come into the world! Jesus will never force His way into our lives… we must invite Him in!

My prayer for you this Christmas is that His light will warm your home, lift your spirit, and remind you that God is working in ways you cannot yet see. May the presence of Jesus fill your conversations, your gatherings, and your quiet moments of reflection.

A Christmas Invitation!

Over the next week, we would be honoured to have you and your loved ones join us for our special services.

We will celebrate with a joyful Carols, Candlelight and Communion Service tomorrow, Friday, 6:30pm-8pm (Small LED lights and Miracle Meals provided), a meaningful Christmas Eve Service, 6pm-7pm and of course, Christmas Day Service, 9am-10am, filled with praise, worship and celebration!

Hope to see you there!

Bless you

Craig
