How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

Hi everyone!
Romans 10:14-15 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (NIV)
In these verses, Paul the Apostle lays out a simple yet profound flow of how the gospel advances. People cannot believe in Jesus without hearing of Him. They cannot hear without someone preaching, and no one preaches unless they are sent. This shows a wonderful truth: the gospel, though powerful, does not travel on its own.
Thinking of Paul’s quotation from Isaiah—“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Feet aren’t normally considered beautiful, yet when they carry someone who preaches the gospel, they are, as far as the Lord is concerned! The beauty is not in the way the messenger looks, but in the life-changing message they carry. I love that!
Every believer who shares Jesus with someone participates in this beauty. They are a part of God’s redemptive plan, joining in His overarching mission to reconcile the world to Himself.
These verses challenge us on two levels. First, are we willing to go—to be sent into the world with the gospel? (Coming to church is not for entertainment; it is for equipping to go…) Second, do we value the preaching of the Word enough to support it, pray for it, and sit under it?
The world still asks the same questions, still looks for meaning, forgiveness, and hope. The answer is the same as it was in Paul’s day: they must hear the Gospel!
Romans 10:14–15 is not simply a theological idea; it is the Lord’s call to action. The preaching of the gospel is God’s chosen means of salvation, and every Christian has a part to play in it. Whether we are the ones speaking, the ones sending, or the ones supporting, we participate in the beautiful work of making Jesus known! Thank you, Lord!
So let us not grow weary or nonchalant about this incredible task before us. Satan is at war with the Bride of Christ on the planet in every country, for the express purpose of stopping her from sharing the Good News!
Let’s keep on keeping on, looking for ways to share the gospel and invite people into His space! Truly, how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!
Bless you all!
Craig
